This place is huge. We’re talking hundreds of climbing routes, a massive bouldering area, and a fitness zone that will make your old gym jealous. You walk in and instantly feel the energy. People of all ages and backgrounds are here, pushing limits, cheering each other on, and having a blast.

Three Ways to Climb

You don’t need to be a pro. You don’t even need to know how to tie a knot. Here’s how you can get started:

Bouldering

No ropes. No harness. Just you, the wall, and a crash pad below. Bouldering is all about power and problem-solving. The routes (called “problems”) range from easy to “wait, people can actually do that?” If you’ve never tried it, the staff will give you a quick orientation, and you can rent shoes right at the front desk.

Top Roping

This is the classic style. You’re harnessed in, roped up, and your partner keeps you safe from below. Take the Intro to Climbing class and learn everything from tying in to catching a fall. All gear can be rented, and the vibe is super supportive.

Lead Climbing

Feeling bold? Lead climbing is for those ready to level up. You clip in as you go, managing your own rope. It’s a rush, and Pipeworks offers clinics to teach you the ropes (literally).

New to the Scene? No Problem

Pipeworks is all about making climbing accessible. Here’s how to jump in:

  • Sign the Waiver: Do this before you arrive to save time.

  • Book a Class: The Intro to Bouldering and Intro to Climbing classes are perfect for beginners. You get gear rental, instruction, and a day pass all in one.

  • No Partner? No worries. The staff will help you find someone to climb with.

More Than Just Climbing

Pipeworks isn’t just about climbing tall walls. The fitness area is stacked with everything you need:

  • Strength machines and free weights

  • Cardio equipment: treadmills, bikes, rowers, stair climbers, ellipticals

  • Olympic lifting gear

  • Campus board, hangboards, adjustable training walls

Want to mix it up? Check out group fitness classes like yoga or performance cycling. The multi-purpose fitness room is always buzzing with activity.

Amenities That Make Life Easy

  • Showers and a dry sauna

  • Free towel service

  • Lockers for your stuff

  • Pro shop for shoes, gear, and apparel

You’ll find everything you need to go from work to workout to wherever your day takes you.

Youth Programs: Start Them Young

Got kids with energy to burn? Pipeworks youth programs are a blast. Climbing camps run year-round, teaching fundamentals like belaying, knot craft, and technique. Kids also get to try slacklining, rappelling, and more. There are after-school camps, summer camps, climbing clubs, and even a competitive team for those who want to take it to the next level.

Financial support is available, making it easier for every family to get involved.

Classes for Every Climber

No matter your skill level, you’ll find a class to help you grow:
